I love how no one is even contemplating Jefferson. It is like yeah the whole homicidal crazy maniac approach does not really work well in garnering affection from the one you tried to capture and kill.

I think that August is a fine choice. He definitely did a lot to have Emma believe and definitely sacrificed a lot later on as penance for his abandoning her years earlier. Basically this is the "good guy" angle (but I hope he doesn't end up last D: )

As for other possibilities, did the writers mention anyone else really? I know there is Neal, Henry's father, but from how Emma reacted it does not seem he is a competent father, lover etc (I wonder if he is Bae if his mental anguish changed him any? I mean it would any kid...) This is basically the "ex" angle

Aside from August and Neal (Bae) then there is Hook. There seemed to be admiration from Hook as to how Emma could catch him telling lies, and her method for getting him to talk (maybe he likes being tied up?) and I do think that Emma recognizes that Hook is a charming, devious man and sees how that can lead to problems. I can only see this as the "bad boy" angle...

That is what I was thinking and saying, that they are all prolly 28, because the writers and Jennifer Morrison said she has to deal with her and her parents being the same age, but I do agree that she is prolly older by some months now, since she has aged since being in SB and the did not, but i am betting they do not touch on that much, I think we are all to assume, they are all 28 :-)

haha yeah thats what i meant. sorry for not explaining clearly...to much ice LOL. and i think henry is dying to call her mom. poor guy is stuck calling her just emma :( as for emma that poor girl is gonna go crazy! lol. shes a very strong person though, so of course she'll get through it. maybe not at first, but eventually.

I agree that Emma probably won't be handling the situation well that she found her parents and that everyone in town is from Fairytale land. She did grew up with those stories but never really believe in them until season 1 finale.

As for Henry, I think he been wanting to called Emma Mom since the episode The Price of Gold. He told her that he does have a code name for her but he wasn't sure that she was quite ready for it yet which I think it most likely is mom.
