Pinocchio/August Booth
Pinocchio was carved out of a magical tree by an old craftsman, Geppetto, and enchanted by the Blue Fairy to become a living wooden boy. Pinocchio was told that he could become a "real boy" if he was kind, selfless, and honest. Geppetto wanting to save his son from the curse places Pinocchio in the wardrobe and makes Pinocchio promise to take care of baby Emma. In the real world Pinocchio breaks his promise to watch over Emma and leaves her in the orphanage to run away with the other children. An adult Pinocchio known as August W. Booth, goes to Storybrooke, to try and convince Emma that she is the savior that can break the curse. He is unsuccessful and due to the lack of magic and his failing to follow his path and keep his promise, August/Pino is turned back into wood.

Got my new avatar,chose pinochio as a wooden boy(sad) gonna keep this until we see him present day stprybrooke in real life form, will bee so happy. Hope he and emma get together although I think emma will end up with bae/neil in the end, but I am totally a wood is good girl. shipping woodenswan always!!

I love the idea of the Greenman/Oberon connection and wouldn't it be great if they brought back the actor (can't remember his name) who played the sheriff to play him?
Well Graham I always envisioned as avatar for Hern the Hunstsman, if August/Pin were realy Oberon/Greenman they could even claim a sort of brotherhood. A Greenman (FTL lord of life) could be the best excuse ever for theshow to surprise us with a rule change withought making us all cringe by having it be cheap. A mature ,'Yes we can Rez the dead afterall, but at an enourmous cost' solution if you get my meaning. That cost of course being something like Pin giving up on humanity and any hope of love life with Emmais just such a thing, withought the utter cliche of killing one character to rez the other.
I sence/hope it's unrequited love there between Pin and Emma anyway. He loves her so much he is willing to sacrifice his own happiness to enable hers. Thus Pin Rezes Graham and becomes Greenman and that is his fate. It also ups him on the powers scale to a certain other character to give the goodguys a magic type other then just the lady Fairies who seem to have a lot of rules barring them from interfering except on the sidelines mostly.
As to the returning Graham angle, no I'm not a Graham fangirl but i understand it. I am a rabid Pinocchio/Eion Bailey fan but I want a little comedy, action and drama for him. With the emphasis on DRAMA. Wether it involves getting the girl or not is a non issue for me. The shere underhanded cunning of my suggestion lets the Graham/huntsman fans have their cake and eat it too with Graham getting to be with Emma, while giving Pin fan's a bome with him getting to snag some staggering, maximum drama time in the show. all withought cheapening the finality of death as it's pretty much a one shot rez.
Essentialy Pin/August would get to be OUAT 'sversion of Sidney Carton to Graham's OUAT of Charles Darnay (Google" A Tale of Two Citys" if you don't get the reference)

I am not a Pino fan as you might have figured out from all my antipino posts lol However I would love to see a story line that involved August as a living puppet and of course if they did that as you say they would have to have some super story twist. Me likey
